The Country:
Australia is a country with diverse cultures and beautiful landscapes. The country spans from sunbaked horizons, to dense tropical rainforests, to chilly southern beaches. Scattered along the coasts, Australia’s cities blend a European enthusiasm for art and food with a laid-back love of sports and the outdoors. A country of 24 million people, more than 85% of Australians live in cities on the coast.

Melbourne, Victoria is known for its metropolitan atmosphere, art scene, music culture, diverse alleyways, and multitude of coffee shops and food. The city’s character is largely reliant upon its diverse collection of inner-city neighborhoods. Your home base will be in the suburb of Box Hill, which is a short walk to Box Hill Institute’s campus and a 45-minute commute by public transportation to the Central Business District.
