The Destination:
You will spend three weeks in one of the most livable cities in the world by visiting our Global Education Network Partner, Box Hill Institute in Melbourne, Australia. Experience the best of all worlds: suburban living with an amazing city outside your door and exceptional academics with experiential learning opportunities.

The Experience Highlights:
The Global Education Network (GEN) is a collaboration of premier postsecondary education institutions providing students with an international learning experience for employment in a global economy. Box Hill Institute (BHI) in Melbourne, Australia is Kirkwood's GEN partner for this program. A GEN short-term program is a three-week study abroad course exclusively designed for your area of study, whether it be art, music,  early childhood education, youth work, disabilities services, culinary arts, business, automotive technology or any other area Box Hill supports. GEN will design a tailored itinerary for you, including:
  • Participation in college courses at Box Hill                                                                                                         
  • Industry/site visits and/or placements                                                                                                              .
  • Intercultural learning experiences                                                                                                    
Estimated Program Fee: $4,200
