The Destination: Mérida, México
Situated on the northern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, Mérida is the safest city in the safest state in México.  Nicknamed “La Ciudad Blanca” for the many white-washed buildings and marble monuments the city is known for its beautiful colonial architecture, a stunning Plaza Central and the Mayan influence on the local food and culture.  Mérida is a cosmopolitan city with all the modern conveniences located near stunning beaches, Mayan ruins and thousands of cenotes.  Come and learn in the real México!
